Shield

Post by Bill » Tue Dec 17, 2013 4:40 pm

I know that there has probably been a ton of reviews on the M&P shield already, but I was really impressed. Picked one up a couple of weeks ago because it's so damn comfortable in my hand. I've had several sub compacts, but nothing that I was really willing to call my EDC. Went to TG&G and put about 100 rounds through it. I shot this so well ( at least for my skill level ). I put together tighter groups with the shield than my G26 or the XDs 9. To be completely honest at 7 yards I shot the shield just as well as my full size M&P 9. Just my 2 cents.

My Shield shoots just as good if not better then my full size pistols.
Kygunco has them in 9 and 40 for $354 right now.

I was out at kygunco a few weeks ago. Picked up a M&P 22 pistol. I'm really liking to M&P series. Curious to see how it stacks up against the SR22. That will probably be my next range report.

Echo this review. I picked one up used (barely, two mags through) about a month ago. The ergonomics of the gun are amazingly comfortable in the hand and I was really impressed with the trigger. The crisp break makes it very accurate for such a short sight profile.

I wondered if all the hype was justified and I have to say I am really impressed.

I try to make up excuses not to carry this gun VS its big brother (40c M&P) and I cant. The Shield actually is my favorite sub-compact.

I just disappears and it is comfortable, I sometimes forget I have it on. Makes carrying my M&P .45c feel like I'm trying to conceal a cinder block.
Oh, how so high they fly........ only further to fall.
