Will your handgun shoot under water?

Won't try this with mine, but have seen it done. Search YouTube for M&P .45 and there's a video of a guy shooting in his pool.

Underwater the pressure is equal
The bullet is shoot out with gas pressure , just as a torpedo is.

From what I understand as long as the barrel is full of water you are ok. If barrel isn't full of water, bullet will slow down or stop when it meets water, which acts like a bore obstruction.
