Basic Gunfighter - March 21st

Ammo: 500rds (Rifle) 250rds (Pistol)
Our Basic Gunfighter course is designed to introduce the shooter to tactical operation of both the pistol and carbine, utilizing both weapon systems to win the fight either alone or as a part of a two man team. In addition, shooters will learn casualty assessment and basic first aid. Topics will include weapon transitions, tactical reloads, buddy team movements, stress shoots, and low shooting techniques.
Required Equipment:
Weapon Mounted White Light
Electronic Hearing Protection (Facilitates Better Hearing of Range Commands)
Elbow and Knee Pads (Drills May Be Conducted On Gravel or Concrete)
Gloves (Extended Firing Can Mean a Hot Barrel, Rail, or Hand Guard)
Spare Parts (In the Event of a Parts Breakage, Quick Repair is Key)
Maintenance/Adjustment Tools and Items (Oil, Sight Adjustment Tools, etc.)
Extra Magazines

Weather and Activity Appropriate Attire (Dress in Layers)
