Art of Every Day Carry

Required Equipment:

Functioning PistolTwo (2+) MagazinesMagazine Carrier (Belt mounted, Inside- or Outside-the-Waistband)Vision and Hearing Protection300 Rounds of AmmoWeather and Activity Appropriate Attire (Dress in Layers)An Open Mind and Willingness to Learn

Recommended Equipment:

Electronic Hearing Protection (Facilitates Better Hearing of Range Commands)Spare Parts (In the Event of a Parts Breakage, Quick Repair is Key)Maintenance/Adjustment Tools and Items (Oil, etc.)Extra Magazines

Art of EDC – One Day

COST – $100AMMO REQUIREMENT – THREE HUNDRED (300) ROUNDS

Course Outline -

The Art of EDC is designed to teach students about the necessary lifestyle changes that occur once you begin carrying daily, from what different clothes will allow the concealment of your pistol to where your holster should be placed on your body. There are many possible scenarios that a shooter could be faced with while carrying on any given day. Throughout this course we will discuss and practice these scenarios, gear selection and implementation, weapon placement and other items that would be beneficial for EDC use.This course will be scenario driven and will include not only shooting drills, but also basic combatives that will allow you to get your weapon into action as quickly as possible. At the end of this course, every shooter should have a basic understanding of how to carry, how to maintain situational awareness, and how to handle a variety of different real world scenarios that they may encounter.

I don't believe we have an couples signed up. This class is different than our SO course, in the aspect of... we discuss EDC in depth, lifestyle change, scenarios, equipment, and more. The SO course focused more on communication and working as a team.
