Great thread, and goes along to what we have stated before on several occasions. We teach fundamentals, skills and tactics... However, the one thing we can't teach is mindset. Mindset comes from experience, most of those experiences involve being on a two way firing range. It takes getting shot at, blown up, physical and mental pain. If we could transplant mindset into our students we could give the greatest skill of all. Unfortunately, mindset is typically trial by fire... and hoping all training you've received will allow you to come out on top.
