If you would like to buy a Garand from the CMP this clinic will help. A friend of mine helps put this on and gave me a flier.

March 7th at 8:00 AM Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club in Georgetown IN. cost $10 per person plus cost of ammo $20. They will even loan you a Garand to shoot if you don't have one.
