The range at New Haven is reserved for KAC for a day of shooting.
*** For new members this is great way to meet and get to know your fellow forum members.
*** Start Time: 11:00 Sunday Feb 25th.
End Time: Whatever
Place: Lincoln Trail Fish and Game Club/New Haven Gun Club

*** Post in this thread if you plan on coming and how many others you may/will bring.
This is our cold weather shoot but bear in mind this is the Ohio Valley, it could be -10 or it could be 80. We have been really lucky during our last three Feb shoots but don't count on us being that lucky again but who knows? Avg for this date is usually cold. There is a heated club house and wood burners outside if needed.
* Shoot fee is $10 per person due at sign in upon arriving to cover the $150 range reserve fee.

There is a fully equipped kitchen for reheating/keeping warm/cooking food in the clubhouse

*** If shooting it may be useful to bring a tarp to catch your empties, you are required to police your brass at the range.
*** As far as targets you mostly bring your own although we do have some reactive targets for general use. Also you may want to bring your own target stands, occasionally there are stands left at the range but you can't count on it.
*** Sorry no tannerite/exploding and glass targets allowed at the range. ***
* Also depending on what you're bringing it may be useful to bring a table, there are racks but they can fill up fast. I myself bring a folding 5ft table which can be bought at most dept stores and will fit into just about any size car.
*** Sell table
Members often bring items for sale and place them on a table in the clubhouse.

**** Be aware there is no official Range Officer (RO) at the range but that does not mean the above will not be enforced. If you spot an unsafe practice shout out.

**** There is a locked gate to the range with a combo lock. If by chance you get there before me or anyone else who knows the combination, just hang on a little bit and I or someone will be along shortly to unlock the gate. The gate will be left open during the shoot.
