There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

You had the blanks supplier right. I was just chiming in for the golf ball supplier. It was a lot of fun! Thank you for supplying the launcher also...plumber_bob wrote:Damn it,... LOL,... I have a hard time keeping names to faces, I've only been to 3 and the 2nd one I spent way too much time in the corner just shooting.
I did a bit better this time.

Re: Feb 28 '16 gun and gear request
This hasn't gotten easier for me. I match maybe one face to one real name and one screen name per shoot. Like I was telling Rusty, you get two perceptions of people that may or may not meet to form one. I knew Rusty in person from past shoots, and I guarantee we've introduced ourselves to each other at those shoots, but I never put his face to his screen name and retained it.plumber_bob wrote:LOL,... Re: Feb 28 '16 gun and gear request
I wonder if we could have hats, or shirts, or patches, or SOMETHING made that has our names (both) on them for events like this.
Hats were made available for purchase by the Kel-Tec group I used to be active with and it made introductions and tying faces to names much easier.
Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.

A hat with their avatar, screen name and real name would help me, I think.
Plus on colder days it wouldn't get covered up.

That was legitimately my method of identification at one point, haha. "Let's see, I know this guy has this gun..."rustynuts wrote:The guy with all the bullpups.....That's Wilson (WLJ).

Re: Feb 28 '16 gun and gear request
You and WLJ were easy. Wilson brought his bull pup collection to a RevDave shoot and I talked with him some there. You,... well right off I seen the grill, and I always like to talk with a guy working a grill. lol.rustynuts wrote:Just look for the guy at the grill. That's me.
And I'm getting myself more conditioned to not worry about asking to check out a gun or can.
I'm kinda weird. Some people even say I look like Tommy Chong! Now that's weird!

Re: Feb 28 '16 gun and gear request
I'm good with names and faces, but there are always new faces that cycle through. So trying go keep those straight on top of the 10-15 regulars that I've met multiple times either at the range or at roosters for some cold beer and hot wings. That is typically the challenge.
