These events are for iron sights only, aren't they?

Pretty sure I read on the site you can use glass but they recommend lower magnification scopes.Wyldman wrote:These events are for iron sights only, aren't they?

We encourage the use of iron sights but scopes are permitted. Hope to see you there.

If I can use my Savage 93 with glass on it, I might be able to give it a try. At my age, and with the condition of my eyes, I just can't see the front sight anymore. I don't live too far away, so if my back & legs will cooperate, I'm game.

I hear ya on the vision issue. The Savage 93 with scope would be fine. Bring two 5-round mags, or better yet, one 5 and one 10. Be aware that the range is 800 yards from the nearest road. Shooters will be ferried via a 4wd from the parking area to the range.Wyldman wrote:If I can use my Savage 93 with glass on it, I might be able to give it a try.
