Re: iwb holster picks
Been hearing alot of good things about old faithful holsters....couple guys here got them specifically for the shield IIRC....
Personally I like just about anything Galco makes, most my IWB holsters are made by them.

I got an old faithful iwb for my shield and its hands down my favorite iwb holster. I wouldn't look anywhere else for a hybrid holster. Great product, great price, and great service.

Thats what I use now and love it. Didnt think I would like the plastic hooks but I do.DDgunslinger wrote:De Santis also makes good holsters for IWB
My old IWB had metal hooks that would catch on to furniture, doors, etc and rub holes through my shirts when they did.

Ps the bodies for the guns are modular and you can just buy the bodies for each gun and use the same holster body.jackalo626 wrote:Minotaur mtac iwb hands down one of the best holsters made.

Bought a PJHolster for my shield and love it. Modded the J hook back to a regular belt hook.
Oh, how so high they fly........ only further to fall.

I bought a remora for my s&&w 642, but it makes it to bulky for pocket carry, which is why I bought the 642. I do like the remora though, very sticky. I may try to see if the shield fits in it, just for shits and.giggles.

Re: iwb holster picks
Lots of great holsters out there now days. I used kholster, Comp- Tac, Blade tech, Crossbreed and Concealment solutions. I have been using the Concealment Solutions Black Mamba for the Glock 19 and a PJ appendix IWB the Kahr CM9. I have been wanting to carry the G19 in the appendix position and ordered a G Code holster to try.

Re: iwb holster picks
Galco Supertuk is what I have for my revolver. Holds securely and mucho comfortable, but a bit snug on the draw, and *forget* about one hand re-holstering.
A friend of a friend has the N82 Tactical, and loves it. Loves the "twist to release" function, since he's concerned about it being taken away in a struggle. While talking with him last October about what I was looking for in my first hybrid holster, he suggested White Hat. He's a concealed instructor and has tried a dozen different brands. I like the idea of buying one leather backing, and swap-able kydex pieces. White Hat will be my next purchase, I think.

I may try the remora. I have a few pair of dress pants for work that dont have belt loops.
Of course I pulled up a youtube video and wanted to smack the girl in the video because of the way she was drawing.
