Re: My quest for a CC pistol.
Just took my stock XD and duplicated that issue Coach.
I think I have about 500 round shot out of it and it is stock
But it may get the trigger work and polishing that I have put off.

Not a fan.
Been thinking about a Jframe myself for work carry.
I picked one up at Tilfords the first week they came out. Thought about buying one until I rented from KCR and it jammed more than Eddie Van Halen.
Glock or S&W M&P have been the only flawless performers out of many that I have personally shot.

I tried to like the XDs. Really wanted to like the XDs. Enjoyed shooting the XDs. Have no complaints in my 230 rounds other than the slingshot. That is bullshit. What, if for some ungodly reason I needed to reload in the middle of a bad situation (not likely, but hey) im supposed to a) remember round count and drop mag when last round is chambered, or b) remember to load off the slide lock? Yea right.
Many love them, but the recall, the slingshot issue, my verdict: screw an XDs. No thank you.
Back to Glock 27 round 2. Good beltman belt, good holster, we'll see how this works out....
Glock no go
XD go
1911 Yeah

FWIW I just slingshotted a whole mag of hornady HPs in my XDS a few different ways and everyone went in smooth. Sucks yours wasn't that way. I liked my G27 when I had it. Only time it ever have me trouble was a few hiccups with WWB ammo.

This is day 30 of rocking a Kimber Solo. I'm sold. Its tits. Ill do a full range report sometime soon.[/quote]
That's a gun I've been very seriously considering. Only held one or two and never shot one, just a dry fire or two. I like the size and the trigger is a massive improvement over Shield 9mm, XDs9 and other like size pistols.
