Man Shoots Self in Leg in Fazoli's Restroom

I'm sure everyone has heard about this by now.

"Elizabethtown police say a man was accidentally shot in the leg while using a restaurant bathroom in the central Kentucky city. Police Sgt. David Neary told The News-Enterprise that the man left his pistol on the toilet paper dispenser while using the restroom on Sunday at the Fazoli's restaurant. Neary says the pistol slipped off the dispenser and shot the man in the leg. Police say the man had a concealed carry permit."

Anyone beside me curious about what model handgun discharges when dropped on the floor from a height of about two feet?

IMHO he violated one of the 4 Safety Rules. The same rules my 9 year old has been learning since he was 5. Some things you just can't overlook without consequences.

Maybe he tried to catch it when it fell and he got a finger in the trigger guard. Never try and catch a falling gun.
