Illegal at both, per the dumb signs they have up. Security will ask you to open your coat and any bag (purses if a lady is with you) that you may have on you. Two years ago, if you wore cowboy boots into Rupp, security at the gate would ask you to pull your pants leg up to make sure you weren't hiding anything in them.
