I tried to find a discussion on this, so I hope it's in a proper forum.
I’ve been researching and comparing both the “Second Call” and the “USCCA” web sites for insurance protection after a defensive use of firearms. It seems that the only real difference is the monthly cost – almost negligible.
Perhaps the real difference is in the ACTUAL service provided, but I have no way of judging that.
Has anyone had any actual experience with either of these two, other than just reading their advertisements or just joining and not yet needing their services? Are they as good as they claim they will do? Are there any residual costs that are borne by the insured?
If you have had any actual experience with either, tell me about it. Thanks, I appreciate it.
