The Official "What are you listening to?" Thread V.1
I like to work out to this song. The chorus is great. The energy is HOT!

I have yet to meet a single person who didn't like this song as I've shown it to them. Highly recommend headphones or good speakers to really absorb it musically but please watch the accompanying video. It's very moving. Krizz is a singer/rapper signed to Strange Music. He's a great rapper but a phenomenal singer/songwriter...as this video shows. Krizz suffers from Vitiligo around his eyes. In some of his music videos, people think he's a weirdo wearing eye liner or something but it's just his pigment around his eyes turned white.
A friend of mine has been trying to get me to appreciate rap and hip hop for 15 years now. He sends me playlists on Spotify, plays it any time I'm around, and burns me CDs to listen to. I find the music boring, unimaginative and tedious. Just different strokes for different folks kind of thing because the song you work out to, I don't find inspiring or motivating at all.
Not meaning to rain on your parade, just get tired of hearing "If you would listen to it, I know you would like it." I have, and I don't. Music is a very personal thing and one size does not fit all.
Now get off my damned lawn!

My only hope is to help remove the stigma that all rap is the same. There is meaningful rap music out here. Not everyone can accept it as music to their ears and I accept that. However, if I can change even one person's perspective then I feel I've contributed back to the music scene that has carried me through life the way it has. Just saying.
Also...what did you think of the song "Stop The World and Let Me Off" quoted above? That one wasn't rap at all but wondered what was your reaction to it?
