LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Crews are on the scene of a fire at a gun repair shop.

According to MetroSafe, the fire started around 4:25 p.m. Thursday in the 3900 block of Bishop Lane.

We have a crew on the way to the scene and will bring you more information on this breaking story as it develops on WAVE 3, online at wave3.com and on your mobile device with the WAVE 3 mobile app.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Yep. Been in there. Good fellas to work with.

Used to get firearms transferred i there cause he only charged a $10 transfer fee. Been many years since I have been over there.

Old building for sure.

Interesting.
I know the place well.
Without divulging the 'inside story' on the current owner/operator, I will jump to a conclusion and cry foul play- arson for insurance.
Just my opinion, by the way.

Fire breaks out at gun repair shop

Only been there once and he treated me like an old customer. I bought 2 fire pin retaining pins from him. He looked at the price and said that's outrageous and charged me half. That's a guy I would do business again.

It's the eastern Kentucky way. If you can't sell your house, it mysteriously catches on fire.

I was told by a shop that used to recomend them and does not anymore that the gunsmith over there took several weapons and is on the run from the ATF

not saying it is true just what i was told from a very well know shop here in town
