Louisville gun show shooting

Post by Elkins45 » Sun Jan 01, 2023 3:31 pm

I drove to Louisville this morning to go to the gun show only to find it was cancelled because there was a shooting yesterday. Of course they didn’t tell me this until after I had paid the $10 to park. I hate the Fairgrounds!

Anyone here at the show when it happened? Media reports make it sound like it wasn’t an accident because there were multiple shots fires.

Conspiracy theories:
If you look at all future calendar dates for gun shows, they are absent.
They were never put on a schedule starting for this one.
The new mayor survived a shooting attempt by a big named BLM activist in 2022.
Mayor Shitburg said his main goal is to stop gun violence in Louisville.
Who's to say another paid actor wasn't responsible for yesterday's fiasco?
Another MAGA hat hoodie wearing racist.

A commenter on the WDRB web story said a young black man was seen running away after the shots. No idea if that is the truth or just someone stirring up race hate, but this person made it seem like a targeted shooting.

$10 to park
$14 for admission to the Gun Show
Just sounds kinda fishy to me that a gang-banger or anyone for that matter would follow a "target" into a gun show of all places and decide to open fire in area where a good 75% of the attendees could probably overwhelm a 3rd world countries army with what they were carrying.

I read another story that said the shooting actually happened in the lobby space that was shared between the gun show and the flea market. It could just as well have been some sort of beef that happened in the flea market, but of course the media called it a gun show shooting.

It was a gang banger drive by at the fairgrounds just outside of where the gun show happened to be taking place. Not a “shooting at the gun show”. It’s like calling it a school shooting because someone got shot on the street in front of it.

Shooting there Friday in the parking lot as well. Media is reporting both as "at the gun show"
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Note that while neither shootings show any sign of having anything to do with the gun show how it was only the gun show they ordered to shutdown and not the flea market as well.

Sooooo, I was at the flea market yesterday and talked to two people who were there when it happened and the stories are wildly different.

Person A-- was in the antique hall of the flea market and heard commotion but didnt see it. Someone they knew said they were outside during it and that a small mazda car drove up, stopped, and the shooter fired thru the doors from the car at random it seemed.

Person B-- was in the regular flea market hall and said that someone walked in the foyer side door and a car pulled up front of the entrance (on the road) and stopped and someone wearing a mask ran up to the front door and shot at specific person that walked in the side door...hitting them...and then went back to the car and sped off.
There was a wild stampede in this hall he said with people trampling some. He said there was probably 25 guns drawn and ready for the action to come into the hall.

Two front doors had glass gone and plywood over it. One door was just the top of the two piece glass so it had half a piece of wood on it....the other door next to it had a full sheet of plywood over a larger opening (both glass gone of course).
