All right about 395’ at “Riverside at Farnsley-Moorman” except the last one. That was taken at a little swamp that I think might be the reason for my mosquito problem around my house.

Quit putting warheads on them. That should help.

I couldn't believe it! It just acted like it decided to go home and shagged ass that way.
It had nothing to do with the fact that I was past a 6 pack when I tried it! 8-)

I thought most of them had a return to home program in case it lost contact with the controller?

OMG!!!

I'm sorry but I LOL'd thinking that some grunt at Knox has a special drone hack that steers them all his way.
That really sucks!
I'd recommend a DJI if you decide to try again. They have the best control set up.

DJI has a RTH (Return to Home) button on their controllers. It will literally land within inches of its original take-off spot.

Exactly!

I lock mine up when the alcohol flows.

I think the highest trees in Kentucky are just under 170'. I keep my RTH at 275' just in case there is a freak of nature tree around.
Did have it at 350', which is really cool to watch the vids of going up and landing from that high.

Of course, we all know that it's illegal to go over 400'. :)

I went with the cheapest one,... it cost me a mere $81 to learn that, that was not a good idea!
