With the large ones they chew them up before swallowing and only have to eat two or three before they are sated, where they will eat ten or fifteen of the smaller ones in a sitting. I just don't see much difference in what's stuffing their gut, other than the smaller ones are a big softer.

And honestly, I don't think I would consider an adult cricket a "large food item" for these guys any more. The smaller of the two is about 7 inches long now and the other one is over 8".

I agree. That's why I just tell people to do their own research on it and come to their own conclusion. But I agree once they are growing like these are it's really a non-issue.

A month or two ago they couldn't handle med worms though. They spit them out more than they held them in.

Growing like crazy! As you can see what was the smallest one is catching up. And getting ready to shed again.

These two little a-holes decided they don't like eachother I guess. The brighter one had bloody toes when I got home earlier and the one ready to shed is missing the very tip maybe 1/8th" of it's tail... They are now separated. Shitheads!

I haven't dealt with aggression in the bigger ones but my last clutch had one asshole that kept biting tail tips. There are at least 6 with missing tips now. First clutch that I have ever had this issue with.

Not sure which was the aggressor. I had to have just missed it because the blood was still wet on the toes.

Okay... So I had a chance to watch the two that I had together for a few when I got home from work today and noticed that the one that wasn't in yesterday tussle was staying clear of the one with the missing tail tip. So I watch a little closer and see the little asshole snapping at the unscathed one anytime they got near eachother. So now the asshole is all alone and the two larger ones are together. I kinda had a feeling it was the one, but the larger one with the toe injury was easier to catch. The aggressor is the smallest one and has always been the most crazy and total spaz compared to the larger two. Hopefully these two that are together now are good. The asshole can live alone with no friends...haha

I don't think there is a blue tailed skink(?) within a mile of here anymore. I FINALLY think I got her to leave them alone this summer. At least when she knows I'm watching her...haha
