My co-worker created a unique rifle case
I didn't even know he was working on this until he sent me the youtube link. Pretty cool. I asked him for permission to show you guys and he said okay. I know he's setting up a website and going to sell them but no clue how much for. Too bad I sold my .308 with bipod. Blah. Lol

A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

That's a good point. I generally take a big ammo can full but I could see the need to tuck some in this case.ken6881 wrote:Needs an ammo cubby. But other than that I like it.

Small quantity precision shooters which who is this seems to be geared toward I could see stirring 50-100 rounds in the case for a day at the range or just for a quick grab and go after work. He has plenty of space was my other reasoning

Re: My co-worker created a unique rifle case
The one improvement I think that would add some appeal to the case/table would be to recess the sides of the case a little (the top, in the table mode) to keep ammo/brass from rolling off when using it in the shooting bench configuration.

It is exactly similar to a folding rifle stand that I own (folds out so that you can put rifles on either side for a gunshow or if you go shooting) but the difference is that the uprights become legs in this case and the whole thing gets flipped over. He could add some cross pieces to connect the legs on the side and make it more stable.
In case no one else says it TACTICAL NAGANT FTMFW!!!!
and what, no RAP music to go along with it???

Why rap music?Dave1965 wrote:It is exactly similar to a folding rifle stand that I own (folds out so that you can put rifles on either side for a gunshow or if you go shooting) but the difference is that the uprights become legs in this case and the whole thing gets flipped over. Re: My co-worker created a unique rifle case
A brilliant, wizard idea! I like it, especially if it comes with a reasonable price tag.
I also think having a rim around the table surface would be another outstanding idea.

That's a cool idea. Needs to set up at a gun show. I bet he would do good.

Re: My co-worker created a unique rifle case
He says there is space inside already to store ammo boxes and that he personally does so. He liked the idea of the recessed tops but feels that it is more work than he wants to do to them. Just an FYI. He says he does have another fix for shells rolling off the sides, in the making. So I guess we will see.
