What did you pick up today?

Doesn't fit in the other categories? Maybe just want to post up some humor or random happening? This is the place for it.

2,000 rds of 22lr from Gilberts
120 rds of 7.62x39 from Gilberts
600 rds of 22lr from Cabelas
120 rds of .308 from Cabelas

FYI.. Gilberts had the Christmas packs of CCI SV for $21 + tax. He had the SV on the shelf in individual boxes for $8.99. You should have seen the look on my face when he told me about the special on the Christmas packs.

hit the gun show, picked up a couple GI 50 cal cans for $10, some surplus .308 in a .50 cal can from guy walking around for .30 a round, few AR magpul things for the daughters Christmas AR, a dozen HK AR SS mags, a few cheap AK mags in pouch, and met some people from Bourbon City Firearms in Bardstown and they had Lower AR receivers for 38.95 there. Told them they should look into signing up as sponsors here.

Picked this up yesterday from Lowe's. Needed a new tool storage solution since selling my Matco cart. This seemed perfect and can pull double duty

Picked this up today for: 58 Vette grill bar and teeth. Found it in my dad's shop, he took it off his car cause it wasn't good enough so he replaced it. Going in the 55. Custom!

I like the original look too but I've seen a few cars with Vette teeth and they look badass.

I will have to find an earlier Vette bar and a couple more teeth, 13 (earlier Vette) seems to fit better than the 9 in a 58. But its a start!

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Sending one of my carry belts back to the Beltman to have it cut down 14". When it comes back, the other will be sent.

As of now, I'm down 155 lbs. from my high of 430. I haven't been in size 46 pants in 40 years. I know that's still big, but way better than it was, and I feel better, too.
