How heavy is the trigger? I've had a .357 and handled a .38 and triggers were heavy. I didn't mind them but most females didn't like them at all.Toecutter1978 wrote:Finally found a nice small 22 for my girlscouts to shoot. RiverCity really came through on this! Thanks!!

With the fish gauge he had, with cocked back was around 2.5-3. I'm hoping after a few rounds it will loosen up so the smaller girls can cock the hammer by themselves.Niceguy wrote:How heavy is the trigger? Re: What did you pick up today?
If I could have found a decent old RB 23, that size would have been perfect for little hands. However I could not find one in any shape I would trust in their hands.Niceguy wrote:How heavy is the trigger? I've had a .357 and handled a .38 and triggers were heavy. Yeah, with hammer cocked they all are fine.Toecutter1978 wrote:With the fish gauge he had, with cocked back was around 2.5-3. What do you think? Post up a detailed review if you find the time, after you've tried it out for a while.gaston_kalash wrote:agency arms trigger.

Re: What did you pick up today?
I think I am becoming a mall ninja. First the HKs then suppressors and now a sword.
It's a Japanese WW2 NCO sword that was brought back after the war. I guess the previous owner didn't have any use for it. It was left in an attic and has a little pitting on the blade but it was cheap. At least nobody's kids played ninja with it.

Re: What did you pick up today?
Collector not mall ninja, gotta get the terminology correct. As for the sword there are a few here in Okinawa in museums that are not as nice as that but some much nicer. Id say you got a pretty good piece.Jff24Gordn wrote:I think I am becoming a mall ninja. First the HKs then suppressors and now a sword.

Re: What did you pick up today?
Went to all 4 Walmarts here in northern KY today looking for 22 lr ammo. None to be found. Got 325 Federal automatch at Dunham and 300 minimag hollow points at Field & Stream. 6 stops, 80 miles driven, 2 + hours yielded 625 rounds.

Picked up a cheap light for 22 compact. It's pretty bright and will spot out to back fence. Got it for critter control.

Re: What did you pick up today?
You need one of these:
I have a light mounted to the rail at the moment, but I rarely need it. I find the red dot alone to be sufficient as long as there's enough ambient light to see my target (and there usually is).

Very cool! Is that a charger? What stock is it in to use the "arm brace"?Frailer wrote:You need one of these:
