Robin Williams RIP

Post by WLJ » Mon Aug 11, 2014 7:22 pm

Actor Robin Williams found dead in home
http://www.wave3.com/story/26253307/act ... ad-in-home
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Regardless of his political views or social proclivities, he was a funny guy and a talented actor. I count myself as a fan of his acting career.

RIP.

Liked a lot of his movies and all his stand up
A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

Never cared for his humor at all but liked his serious roles in a few movies. The movie (One Hour Photo) was excellent. He seemed like a great guy and I'm sure he will be missed.

Watched Mork and Mindy and appreciated his comedy. He also was really good in the movie RV. Not a blockbuster movie but enjoyable.

I think someone else said it already, but one of my favorite movies of RW is One Hour Photo. Good Will Hunting is another favorite.

He was divorced twice, with 3 kids. I am betting financial woes were part of his return to drugs and the bottle.

He had recently gone back to work on the TV set. I suspected then that he was having money problems. Just my opinion though, I could be way off base.
