Capitol punishment
Article today on CNN about the botched execution. They say the lethal injections aren't working well. They are taking to long and might not be painless.
I don't think I have even the slightest remorse if a racist writhes in pain for 2 hours during his execution. The people he hurt are in pain the rest of their lives.
I'd be fine with arrows for executions. Let em bleed out for an hour or two for all I care.

Re: Capitol punishment
Can't use harmful chemicals for lethal injections anymore, wait I thought the purpose was to end his life. I vote to use something like VX gas ( like in The Rock ), most of the scum need the type treatment on the way out.
Oh, how so high they fly........ only further to fall.

I like American ninja warrior. How about they compete in it and the pools are full of acid or hungry gators or something? Just a little extra excitement.Rem700 wrote:Death race or running man.

Send them straight to the Soylent Green factory and throw them into the machinery to make more free Obama Crackers.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: Capitol punishment
No pools of acid , no nijia , no lethal injection -which is curl and unusual , no firing squads, arrows, wood chippers.
Just a hemp rope , a gallows, the hangman , the court house square at high noon.
Plain , simple , effective and not hidden away.

Mandatory for EVERY inmate to witness and open to the public for all who wants to witness also. Re: Capitol punishment
I don't trust this government with executing its citizens.
More than 10% of people who have been sentenced to death have been exonerated since 1976.
I won't speculate on how many have been wrongly executed.
It's interesting to consider how many on death row are guilty, but may not actually meet the criteria to be executed. That's a whole 'nother category of wrongly executed people. Guilty but not of a capitol offense.
Keep in mind that the average time from sentencing to exoneration is 10 years. 10 years wrongly spent on death row by more than 10% of those sentenced.

Re: Capitol punishment
I'm not discounting that at all.....but if you are caught red handed so to speak, then death should be the sentence and swiftly. Too much bureaucratic BS gets in the way with out legal system. Take for example the POS caught raping the 11 yr old boy. Dad beat the piss out him but left him alive. IMO he should have been hanged already.justang1997 wrote:I don't trust this government with executing its citizens.

Re: Capitol punishment
But i see your point as with all positions of power they seem to breed corruption and someone with your life in their hands can be a scary thing. Im not sure what the right answer is but i do know there are many people out there (in prison and out) who don't deserve to still be breathing.

I agree with you there, I just don't think the answer is going to be found in our legal system.
