Now from what I know from the series. Eating meat that has been tainted with the virus would infect the person correct? So the people that eats those pigs would turn right?

That's what I was thinking. I figured out pretty quick that the pigs weren't for them when they were doing that

I think it was just an F you....you are eating pigs that fed on human zombies. Everyone is infected already which is why they turn to zombies no matter how they die.

You could be a carrier of a dormant strain of the virus. When active strain enters the blood stream through a bite/scratch or ingesting tainted meat could cause the fever/zombie effects. Just a thought. Basically turning the pigs into biological weapons.

The same way you get sick and die from a bite on the show. Yes everyone is already infected, but quickening your enemies to their death always helps

That's my guess. They should get sick eating the pig meat just like if they were bitten. Or at least I think that's what the kingdom folks are hoping for.

Ok so Alexandria, Kingdom, and Hill Toppers are all supplying Negan.......so future episode will be them all teaming up to stomp a mud hole in Negan's ass......Im sure its not quite that easy but that kinda gives it away this season. The Kingdom is interesting though and i was waiting for the twist but Ezekial kinda came clean to Carol so i dont know anymore. Maybe they are legit.

depending on how tight negan's supply situation is you could coordinate a simultaneous cut off of supplies. combined with ambushes on the teams sent out to enforce the collection. then through some water boarding get the location of the main base and attack it using walkers as a weapon not unlike the terminus episode. food for thought.

The pigs will do nothing more, the meat being tainted does nothing really. They aren't eating it raw are they? Cooking would kill the virus right?

As far as the tactics, they would require a more militaristic group than what Rick has to work with. Plus Negan has weapons and vehicles to heavy up the odds. Not horses and weak minded farmers and sheeple as are in the Kingdom.

So I'm wondering how far is Negan's reach then? He has installations all over the place. He has communication capabilities that Rick is not thinking about. Rick has gone primitive in his mind.

I figured the tainted meat was more akin to A) they don't know it won't do anything, or
B) they are simply teabagging their dinners (or spitting in their food analogy)

I'm thinking the tainted meat/pigs. Are kinda like the Pigs that Ricks group ate back in the prison that was feeding on the prison farm that was growing from a burnt zombie graveyard. And then everyone in the prison started getting sick and dying within just a few days after eating the pigs.

That's just my theory though.
