Can anyone confirm that keens is having there mosins in sale for 70 bucks right now. Heard about it from a friend but can't find anything on the website about it

If they are kentucky gun company which I think they are, I have seen television commercials all week for them selling mosins for $69.99. Sale ends Sunday or monday.

That s there website, but I think everyone calls it keens depot. Anyhow I might try and go tomorrow to see it I can get me a 91/30

NGD for me tomorrow!!!!! Anyone got any advice on what to look for quality wise? Im guessing these are just packed in crates and covered in cosmo and i have zero experience with mosins.

Just check for matching #'s on the parts and check the crown of the muzzle and also the pull of the bolt. I prefer the earlier date stamps from the 1930's to early 40's myself.
Dont forget to get a bag and put your cleanig kit, bayo and odds and end parts into before you check out.

Check wood out carefully; they all look awesome soaked in cosmolene, but when you get the cosmoline off you notice finish problems. Just look closely for discolorations deep gouges, etc..

I just talked to them on the phone. They confirmed they have em in stock for $69.99. Gonna go get at least 1 tonight or in the morning.

i was just up there at 6:00 today and they are still on sale. They are on sale till monday. I picked 1 up and they probably still had 25 of them left. I was delayed AGAIN so i have to make another trip down there.

I was there about 2 weeks ago and that sale was going on.They had one entire rack full of them that weekend.I was there for about and hour and saw them sell prob 30 of those rifles.One guy was buying 5 of em.

Just got back from and got me a nice numbers matching mosin! Can't wait to get it out to the range. But I just realized the guy forgot to put my parts kit in the bag, I got the bayo, sling, oil pouch and cans, but no parts kit. I handed it all to him to put in a bag and some how I guess he missed it. Anyone got a spare laying around they can part with?
