Picked up my octane 45 this afternoon. Shot a few rounds after. It's pretty sweet.

I only.put 50 rounds through it but so far I'm loving it. I was so excited to try it out that I forgot to bring the 9mm end cap to try out but I'll get out again to shoot this weekend. From what I hear it makes a little difference so I'm looking forward to trying it out.Wyldman wrote:Congrats! I hope you like yours as much as I do mine!

Like new Daniel Defense 10.5 upper with Omega 9 rail. Ready to trade it for a different Daniel Defense upper already...

The 9mm end cap does make a difference. I have tried it on the M&P 9 and i even bought the left hand piston for my threaded Sig 226, too.shaggy1392 wrote:I only.put 50 rounds through it but so far I'm loving it. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. Re: What did you pick up today?
It's going to take a little bit to build up my supply. Only other .308 cal weapon I had was the Savage. That was part of the deal to get the SCAR. Definitely need to get my reloader set up for the 308 now.Dave1965 wrote:Sounds like its on a diet.Gunsmokin wrote:200 rounds of 7.62X51 to feed the beast Saturday!

I have probably 400 rounds or so. Plus, I have the dies for my reloader. Need to find a good combo to load for myself.Dave1965 wrote:Gunsmokin wrote:He gets it! Re: What did you pick up today?
I know a few people on here are loading .308. I'm not loading anything yet though. I have a reloading setup but haven't set it up yet. I think Viv, Wyld, Ar-Rob were a few that I think are or have been that I think I've heard mentioning it. I'm sure there are others...Gunsmokin wrote:If anyone has a good round work-up, I'd be all ears...Niceguy wrote:I need to do the same...Gunsmokin wrote:I have probably 400 rounds or so.
