Good ammo prices will keep me a loyal customer. I don't buy very many guns, but the ones I do have need a steady diet of cheap ammo.

Re: New Lotus Guns?
I saw an old friend working in there yesterday. Bob. He was the original owner of B and J guns in St Matthews and later the Oakwood. Before the last owner.
Bob was in high school with Lotus ' owner and is helping out for a while.
I hope it becomes a "go to" shop!

Heard this as well. Heard the owner fired Corey and workers said if he goes we go. I didn't deal much with anyone in particular there other than Martha, but she was very nice.

When I looked earlier today the website had help wanted all over the front page. General manager, gunsmith tech, salespeople. Guess things went downhill.

Depends on which page you're onrustynuts wrote:When I looked earlier today the website had help wanted all over the front page. General manager, gunsmith tech, salespeople. Guess things went downhill.
The anchor page shows help wanted
http://www.lotusgunworks.com/
The Louisville store page shows both temp closed and help wanted.

I guess no one can be a salesperson around here, says you have to get your Florida carry license within certain time. Obviously they didn't bother to change the description from their homestate to apply to KY. Devil in the details of all things I guess. Otherwise I would qualify

I was in there last week. The girl didn't seem very knowledgable talked to. Younger guy who was alright. Said they are getting more ammo in and using one side of store for a rim fire area. What has happened since idk. Prices were still high. $399 plus tax for a shield

Re: New Lotus Guns?
On the Shield, Buds has em for $371-392 depending on model, so the $399 and no drive to Lex sounds pretty decent to me. Maybe they have heard their customers about getting more competitive.
I am withholding judgement until I see how it goes. I was always treated well at Lotus, and rarely paid the "display" price. Of course, volume matters and I have spent some $$ there in the past 5 years.
We'll see.

Decent? Meh not when other stores in the area carry it for $350.... Lol
Hope they start becoming more competitive. If not with this backlash I don't see them being around much longer..

Re: New Lotus Guns?
I liked Lotus selection and nice store furnishings, sometimes a deal on some accessories but nothing much on guns, hope they turn it around but something tells me they are heading south permanently.
