What did you pick up today?

Doesn't fit in the other categories? Maybe just want to post up some humor or random happening? This is the place for it.

Make sure your weights on the broadheads and bolts are whats recommended by Barnett! They are great crossbows but will snap if you use the wrong bolts and or too heavy/light weight combo on bolts broadheads.
It came with the proper bolts. I just supplied the 100grain muzzys
A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

Sweet, I had one 25 or so years ago. It was so damn loud if a deer wasn't at 20 yards or less they would hear the sound and jump before the bolt ever got to them. How's yours noise wise?

It's my first crossbow so I have nothing to compare it to. For all practical purposes, I do not think its very loud at all. Loudest thing I heard when zeroing the scope was the bolt hitting foam target.

http://www.kineti-tech.com/steel-muzzle ... ave-ports/

Just ordered this for my Pistol Upper. :D $38.66 in cart. Looked at the KX5's and they were $$$$$

Steel Muzzle Brake Compensator Front Concave 6 port.

Quality made here in the USA from A311 StressProof Steel for a life time of durability (see other listings for alunimum version). Item is 2.25" and really sets off the look of the gun....very nice. Design to redirect propellant gases with the effect of countering flash recoil and unwanted rising of the barrel during firing.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Through Hole - 5/16" for .223 and .556
Length - 2.25"
Width - 1"
Thread - 1/2" - 28

No kidding. Usually check out the forum on my phone, but just pulled it up on the phone and thought how archaic that would be.

My 2005 Taurus with its $2500 rebuilt transmission on Thursday. Only has 79000 miles on it so it was worth getting it rebuilt but wished it cheaper. That's the same day I totalled out 07 focus.

A pair of Angolan pythons...oh wait, wrong kind of forum.

A barely used S&W Shield 9 from a forum member here at a nice price to boot. I'm finding that packing a full size 1911 while working is counterproductive so it was time for a secondary, smaller carry piece. I've handled all sorts of "pocket pistols" at the LGS from Glock, Kel Tec, Taurus, beretta and Ruger. My hands are way too big but this one is doable.

Yesterday was a much better day for the family of Rugers that live here. My M77/22 stainless with skeleton stock in 22 mag, M77 22-250 in stainless and laminate wood with a Leopold vx2 3-9 x 40 and my Super Redhawk in 45 Colt/454 Casull were all finally shipped to my FFL. It's been a long wait for those. Lots of new to me pea shooters to toy with.
