ah gotchaNiceguy wrote:No it was the full size because i was talking about cutting down the 17 to make it feel more like the 19. I like the feel of the 19 MUCH better than the 17/34 grip... The 17/34 is the one I've always bitched about the big stupid feeling hump in the grip...haha They still all have that stupid grip angle though! haha

I've been half joking at work about having a drop leg Kydex holster made for my radio. Now, I may have to hit you up about that. And I'm still looking for "the one" holster for my Shield.Bama wrote:Picked up some equipment to start making Kydex holsters and such.

Re: What did you pick up today?
I want a front draw owb holster that I can carry my G19 in with the .22 kit & can attached. Something I can use while working in the yard, especially while on the mower. Drawing out the top with the can is far too difficult, potentially dangerous, & highly ineffecient. If I could just push it out the front of a clamshell type holster, I could bring it bear much more quickly w/o flagging myself.

If you want local, check out darkmattertactical.com. He is out of Lexington. It is going to be a couple of months before I am bending Kydex, and then I have to get the process down to where I am happy with the product.

Cool. I'm willing to bet you'll like it. I love my G30. It's been one of my favorite, most reliable handguns for 20 years, now. Gives me a warm fuzzy just knowing it's on my belt.

Picked up a G42 on Friday and ordered a mini-phantom for it as well. Think of it as a mini-me for my gen 4 G19. Sorry to admit that I love this little thing!

Re: What did you pick up today?
I think that would work better with an offset mount for the red dot but idk

Re: What did you pick up today?
I got a couple of these ANKER chargers ... a buddy had one and he raved about it ...
It will charge your phone 2-3 times to a full charge ... and quickly...
Not like one of those little batteries that just extend the life of the phone battery, really gives it a quick full charge.
I got one that will charge 2 devices at one time and another a little bigger that will charge 3 devices at one time ... (Had to get one for the wife .. lol)
It is supposed to work to charge the Ipad, too ...
I put an old phone beside it to show relative size ... The phone is my old DroidX
