70th anniversary of Doolittle's raid on Tokyo.

A bunch of B-25s flew into Wright-Pat AFB near Dayton, OH for the celebration today. I met one of the surviving crewmembers a few years ago. Thanks to all who have served.

Sweet! You get any pictures?

I saw it on the news at noon. If I had known about it yesterday I would have driven up there this morning, about 90 minute drive each way. Should be on the evening news. There are a bunch of pics on another non-local gun board, don't know if I can mention it here. Initials are GB.

Here is a pic of me (center) and 2 B-25 crewmen from WW2. The one wearing the white jacket was a pilot flying The Hump over Burma. The gentleman in the black jacket was a navigator (IIRC) on the 7th plane of Doolittle's raid. Pic was taken at the Tri-State Warbird Museum just east of Cincinnati,OH in 2007. I have their names written down somewhere.
