there is a meeting scheduled to discuss some aspects of the new VA hospital. from the way this bulletin reads it sounds like the brownsboro rd site is going to be the location. every one is invited to attend and provide their input. as an employee, i am not allowed to provide any feed back that patients tell me, so you guys go and offer your opinion.

VA to Host Public Meeting to Present Findings of
“Draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment” (Draft PEA)


The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), will host a public meeting on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 to present findings of a “Draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment” (Draft PEA) for the proposed site acquisition for the construction, and operation of a new medical center within the greater Louisville, Kentucky, metropolitan area to replace the existing Robley Rex VA Medical Center, located at 800 Zorn Avenue. At this meeting, the public will have an opportunity to provide comments, via open testimony or in writing, regarding their viewpoint on the information provided.

Copies of the Draft PEA are available for public review at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center Library and at the Louisville Free Public Library – Westport Branch, located at 8100 Westport Road. In addition, an electronic copy of the Draft PEA is available via the internet at http://www.louisville.va.gov under the “New Medical Center Updates” tab.



Meetings are open to the public and all are invited to attend.
