I have Advantage Arms .22 conversions for all of my Glocks.

Break them in with either CCI MiniMags or Remington Golden Bullets (I know, I know, but they are what AA recommends for break in), run it wet for about 1000 rounds, and clean the chamber every 100 or so rounds during break in and it will then run just about any decent quality high velocity ammo with very few problems. I also have threaded barrels for each of mine and they all run great with either of my .22 cans attached.

At around $269.00 (or so), they are just about the best and least expensive Glock conversions available. I get almost all of mine from an outfit called AmbientWeather.com (http://www.ambientweather.com/ou.html).

They also carry spare mags for really reasonable money. The threaded barrels are only available from AA's own website (http://www.advantagearms.com). These kits are very popular and can go out of stock quickly (especially the G19/23 kits), but Ambient Weather is really good about notifying customers of new stock if you request an email notification.

If you decide to get the AA kit, make sure you get the correct kit as the Gen 1-3 kits are all the same, but the Gen 4 kit is a different kit part number because the slide is markedly different.

AA also makes a great 1911 conversion kit, as well.

Under no circumstances should you even consider anything made by Ceiner. They work, but God help you if you ever need parts, service, or even spare mags. The 'net is rife with horror stories of trying to deal with that asshole, and I have personal experience that the stories are all true.

Tactical Solutions also makes Glock conversions, but they have been reported to be very problematic and quite a bit more expensive.

No problem, I'm always happy to share my hard won experiences, especially here among my homies.

As a side note, I'm so happy with my G19 kit that I bought a spare G19 frame just so I could have my own, dedicated, Glock 19 .22, full time.

I did the same thing; purchased a bare Glock 22 frame for my 17/22 kit. It's now my favorite .22.

FWIW Knob Creek usually has the AA kits in stock, priced at ~$270 (last time I looked--which was a week or so ago).

Tactical Solutions has them and so does Glock.com. Can't remember how much.

AA does sell kits with threaded barrels, and threaded barrels are also available seperately on their website. All of my AA kits have threaded barrels and run great with the can (s)

AIRSOFT AIRSOFT AIRSOFT! I am absolutely sold on them, you can practice all your draws , all close range shooting , using cover, all inside your home no matter where you live. Set up the tread mill and shoot while moving.

I know many look at it as a toy and yes it is if you treat it like a toy, but the gas blow back cycle, they hold open last round, they are plenty accurate out to about 25 yards, on reduced sized targets you can push the training range, the cycle is not the same recoil as the real thing but still pulls the sights up and requires you to find the front sight again. You can run them on cheap propane tanks from walmart. 5000 BBs are under 20 bucks.

You can do it in your home 7 days a week

Just saying

I don't know, I haven't seen a TacSol up close, only shot one a few dozen times. If you have a TacSol, I can compare it to one of my AA kits and we can see. I have been having a similar discussion with a guy on ArfCom (Vengarr), but we haven't gotten together on it, yet.

Let me know if you want to meet and compare them, I'll be happy to oblige.
