3.5 connector with over travel question
Bought a ghost rocket for the 26 today and got the "fancy" one with over travel stop. Who has put one in and how much did you have to trim off the tab. On mine it doesn't go far enough back to even start to lower the trigger bar. Looks like 1/3 of it will have to be removed.
1st time I put it back together and it wouldn't dry fire was neat couldn't take it apart till the firing pin was dropped out :0

You need a 1/2 plate for the back the slide. So you can release striker if you haven't filed enough off.

3.5 connector with over travel question
I got it taken care of last night and I would say more than half the tab was cut off took 5 times of assembly-disassembly-file to get it right I now realize to hell with spending more for the over travel.

I agree, the hassle with getting the tab "just right" is not worth the benefit IMO.
Plus, It seems the tab gets in the way of re-inserting the trigger bar = big pain.

So I am looking to upgrade the trigger on my glock 19
What kit will give me nice combat shoot able trigger light but not crazy light.
I was thinking this one.

If you're going to use it for competition, target shooting, or general plinking, go for it.RecoilSensitive wrote:So I am looking to upgrade the trigger on my glock 19

But if this is a pistol you plan to use for self defense, I'd leave it completely stock.
I can guarantee that if you ever have to use a firearm in extremis you won't notice the difference between a 5 pound trigger and a 12 pound trigger, nor will you notice any grit, stacking, creep, or overtravel.
IMHO a stock Glock trigger is as light as I'd ever want to go on a striker-fired gun with no manual safety.
Just my 2 cents.
