Seems like a good idea. Unfortunately, to be competitive, they should have designed this to “work around “ the impending US laws so the upper AND lower don’t have to be serialized. ( I know neither the upper nor the lower receiver of an ar-15 meet the requirements to be quantified as a gun).

If it were some start-up company trying to get in the game, I would say no. But, it’s Glock. Who knows if it will ever make it to market, realistically. I suppose their marketing and R&D know. I’m just interested to see if they have some new innovations that make their platform preferable to the others. If they actually produce a rifle, and it is a civilian version, and it isn’t FN SCAR priced, I would probably jump in on it.
