Nobody said it was broke. I just like the idea of the finger grooves removed, flared mag well and some small updates.

The 19M peaks my interest a little. Not really on the 17 though. Seems like it would make a great stock IDPA, or whatever pistol when you can't mod the grip. I don't like a stock grip on any gen 17.

I'm not knocking it, I personally have used a 17 for so long that this model would not benefit me. Mag changes have never been an issue. Same with the grip. I'm sure Glock will charge a premium for these changes.

Wondering exactly what they changed on the rifling. No finger grooves and flared magwell are an improvement, but I wont be swapping my gen 3's for M's any time soon.

No. The article I read said standard land and groove rifling (button rifling). Personally, I've never had an issue with polygonal bores, in fact, I find them be much more accurate and consistant. Why the FBI demanded button rifling is beyond my understanding.
