You're doing it wrong. :llama:

I love the way my ugly, blocky Glocks work every time, but too little too late this time, Gaston.

These days when I need something slimmer than a doublestack 9 or a J-frame I'm rocking a Colt 1903 in handcrafted leather.

If it's not enough gun for the task, at least I'll die classy.

I have nothing against Glocks, zero, my M&P just fits my hand so much better. YMMV
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I own a selection of both but carry two different M&P series pistols. The M&P does fit me better as well and is just as reliable as my Glocks.

It is funny to see how much people go out of their way to bash things that are popular and successful. I don't think I have ever liked something half as much as some people hate Glocks.

Glocks never were mandatory to own or have if you didn't have or own a gun.

Too true.

What makes this especially strange is that I don't know any of the Glock fanboys that are the target of so much vitriol. I'm sure there are some people who think Gaston is JMB reincarnated, but the Glock owners I know don't fit this image at all. Most of them--like me--use them because they are damn reliable and a great value.

This, plus they're not as ugly as XDs. :llama:

Wife finally decided to start carrying. She really likes shooting the G19, but I have a feeling she will not want to carry it everyday. We shall try this weapon for her when it comes out.

I don't have to bash them, and I don't, I just find them much less ergonomic than other brands.

My Shield has maybe 3,000 to 3,500 rounds through it with no issues at all. I just get tired of everyone exclaiming how great the Glocks are. Kind of like religion, you like what you like, but don't try to force your preferences on me.

You are correct and it is 100% preference because we have already signed off on its reliability and value. I don't force them on anyone and never say anybody is wrong that doesn't prefer them. The people that say they hate them and they have bad ergonomics are wrong, they might not be ergonomically correct for them but they never say "it just isn't for me". They point natural for me and are faster on target than other pistols. They talk about them like they raped their sister. I love them and have 6 but I also own other guns and enjoy them the same. They'll be just fine without the people that don't like them, they kind of sell a few each year to people that prefer them. All that being said, if S&W made an M&P 9 that was Glock 19 sized that everybody has wanted for years and would be American made, then I think Glock would have a big problem. Yet S&W doesn't.
