The model 40 is to be a longslide, 6 inch barrel 10mm! From the factory with a slide milled for small red dot sights. Be still my safe! Deer, boar and just able everything else around here would be fair game.

People can't get ammo for them now besides sd ammo but then again that's what people would be hunting with. More people buying the gun would also entice ammo manufacturers to ramp up more production. I have a decent stash of factory ammo and I know guys reload as well so that helps them but it doesn't help me for the volume I shoot.

I have the 41. Hopefully they'll make a conversion barrel for it.

Just goofing on the "conversation" barrel. I knew you meant conversion. The part about the doily hand guards was in reference to the pics a while ago someone posted of hand guards that were all fancy pants scroll work, like a conversation piece.
