FDE Glock 19L

Okay today I started my Glock 19L

It's life started as a new Gen3 Glock 17 frame that was acquired

I added a Gen3 Glock 17 frame that has had a couple of hundred rounds fired and is equipped with Warren Tactical 2 Dot night sights. It has some ugly color fill on slide that will be removed.

The build continued this evening:

While eating some delicious smoked beef butt I decided to go ahead and make the all important frame cut. For now I decided to leave the rear a little longer to someone enclose the mag and I left some extra gap under the frame to aid in mag stripping.in case of a malfunction such as double feed or mag not dropping free.

The gun is done for tonight, next I will work under the trigger guard and add a grip force adapter.

You need to refine the slant cut , I would suggest a emery broad.
Or a diamond file.
Looks good !

I am going to. My file is worn out so going to pick up a new one tomorrow. Thanks for the comment.

Didn't want to hit it anymore with dremel and sand paper wasn't working well enough.

Okay.

So it has the following
Shaved front and rear straps
Grip cut to G19 mags
Trigger guard under cut in 2 spots
Stippled all the way around

Still have a little cleanup to do but it is looking good and feels great.

And it's ruined after all that garage gunsmith Dremeling and sanding and poking with a torch-heated screwdriver... Too bad... You probably won't get more than $100 for it.

I'll give you $150, because I like you.

Which makes it perfection. When worked over, perfection refined.
Respectfully, I question the logic of this statement.

But I'm not a big fan of stippled (or chopped) Glocks, so my bias my be clouding my thought process.

No hate, though. If something works for somebody, I'm good with that. If the OP enjoys stippling his Glocks, engaging in anonymous homosexual encounters, etc. it's absolutely none of my business.

Really the stipple isn't my favorite part. The one thing I hate despise loath about Glock are the finger grooves. If the gen2 had a rail for light then it would be king.

Love that my 43 has no finger grooves
