I joined the Glock club...
Gen 4 G17 seems to fix the handling problems I had with Glocks in the past. This fits my tiny girl hands very well. Now I just need to learn how to shoot this thing... the trigger feels different.
I'm hoping that I can make the changes to my trigger control that the RWI instructors suggested. The Glock reset seems more pronounced. Maybe I can find it easier...

The Ghost trigger kits and polishing the rest of the trigger parts make a world of difference to those ungodly shitty triggers... Super easy to do also!

Re: I joined the Glock club...
I don't change triggers on my defensive weapons. Just shoot it and clean it. Also snap cap practice makes a world of difference in trigger control. I started a couple months ago and it has really paid off. Faster follow up shots and tighter groups have been achieved out to 25 yards

Re: I joined the Glock club...
If it's a defensive pistol, don't worry about the trigger. If it's a bullseye shooter, work it to your preference.
If you ever have to actually use it to defend yourself you won't notice that trigger. You won't even remember pulling it.
Welcome to the club. I have several and never really noticed the triggers sucking.

Re: I joined the Glock club...
I just want to add the hypocrisy in people (not here) that will rant about not modifying a gun's trigger for defense because they are scared it will somehow make their case of being justified in shooting overturned. There has never been a case of a lighter trigger ever as a reason a court case was swayed. Being justified in shooting has NOTHING to do with what gun you are using. I will also add I love it when they say they wouldn't modify the trigger because of court but they will have modified sights, grip stippling, rubber grip sleeves, etc which are all "modifications" that the people they are talking about judging them can see visibly. Their logic is flawed and it annoys me.

Re: I joined the Glock club...
i dont change the trigger, not because of court, but because i want something tried and true that will simply work. and not go off too easily

Re: I joined the Glock club...
The Ghost trigger set up I did was nice. Just a little bit lighter, it wouldn't have accidentally or easily gone off. I would never want a trigger like on my 22/45 or 1911 on a carry gun...haha

Re: I joined the Glock club...
I dont run fancy triggers because the time it would take to modify , and the money it would take to change the trigger , is better spent working on my skill. Glocks come with a perfect trigger, the reset is where its at anyway.
