I am new to guns and I am looking towards getting a G19 as a first gun--likely the only gun for a while. Several people have told me that the 19 is just a great all-around size and suitable for range/carry/home/whatever...

Yeah, I love my 19.

When I OC, I OC my 17, when I want deep concealment I use the 26.

For everyday/truck/home gun its 98% of the time my 19

I shoot some pretty good groups with it too!

To Glock or Not to Glock?

Glocks are great guns for the price. I have had a 23 & 27 for 20 years. The 27 only feels good in my hand with a +1 or +2 mag extension. My H&K P30 and Sig 226 are WAY more comfortable in my hands and both shoot excellent....but they are more expensive !!!
