Re: Value check
I wouldn't pay a dime over $500 for the whole package.
It would be different if either the gun or other items were NIB, but they are not.

Re: Value check
What pisses me off is people will buy a NIB Glock for $550 and want to sell it used for the same price.
Yea, two different barrels are included, that tells me this gun has had lots of use.

Re: Value check
Barrels are worth $100 each used I think if they are in good shape.
Gun w/ box + 2 mags ... maybe $425 looks like it's in great shape (may have never seen a holster) and has night sights - any idea how bright?
Two 9mm mags - another $30
is he offering 357 SIG ammo?
If he would take $500 I would jump on it, but not sure you are going to get him to go that low. I would not if I were selling it. I would sell everything separate before I would go that low.

not necessarily.
I have several guns that I rarely shoot. if you look at the frame of the one in that auction there is barely even any 'pig nose' going on and no holster wear. I am guessing lightly used.
I have read, but not experienced it myself, that there COULD be extraction issues when dropping a 9mm barrel into a 40 / 357 sig Glock, so maybe the guy does not like the 357 or the 40 and did not have good luck with the 9mm so he is ditching the entire package?

Re: Value check
I see your point and understand as well. To me if I buy used anything, Im not going to pay near new prices. I cant really see the auction pic to well on my cell phone but this gun may look better then what I can see. I guess this is one reason I don't buy very many used guns.ChopperDoc wrote:Toddstang wrote:What pisses me off is people will buy a NIB Glock for $550 and want to sell it used for the same price.

Re: Value check
While not the case with that auction, there is something to be said value wise of buying a gun without a 4473 considering the current administration.
Not saying it adds a lot of value. Just a nice feature of used FTF purchases

ya i know its worth more than 400 Rob lol
not all glocks are 400 bucks. If the #'s work and he adds enough cash I may take him up on it. we shall see

Re: Value check
Pig nose happens from the molding process and not from heating up during shooting just as a side note. It is easily fixed with a blow dryer and out upside down on a table to cool with a bit of pressure and it will stay that way from there on out. I know it doesn't effect the function but I am picky and fixed one of mine that needed it.ChopperDoc wrote:Toddstang wrote:What pisses me off is people will buy a NIB Glock for $550 and want to sell it used for the same price.

Interesting.
Looking at my lightly fired Glocks there is little to none but on the ones I fire a lot it is pronounced. I just figured it was from heat from shooting.

Yeah I had never paid attention to it until I seem a video on YouTube and bought one new that had it and fixed before I ever shot it.ChopperDoc wrote:jackalo626 wrote:Pig nose happens from the molding process and not from heating up during shooting just as a side note. Drive there (Dave) and burn $45 in gas haha but if I lived there I'd be buying Glocks at that price all day assuming they are the right calibers 9mm, 10mm which are the only calibers that matter!Coach wrote:Dave1965 wrote:Shop here has a like new Glock 23 Gen3 with 3 mags in the box for $410.
