Started model 19 Gen 2

Post by Geno » Sat Oct 15, 2022 11:54 pm

Now I have a model 19 Gen 5. A few others as well but,I had convinced myself that Gen 3 was my Glock. For everyday every situation, I now think that the gen 5 is just about right. The hump is acceptable without any additional help. Fits my hand well and shoots to point of aim. It doesn't hurt that my son thinks Glocks are cool finally after shooting 1911's and Sig P220, P226, and P229's. I keep telling him to only carry what you shoot well and can replace with a simple trip to the gunshop. Never carry anything sentimental. If needed to dispatch a miscreant, you'll be without it for some time. The Glock model 19 Gen 5 does just that. Never really a fan boy but appreciate the role it plays. Geno

Smart man. I went through this a couple years ago- I was carrying a Gun worth well over a grand…(Colt LWC) I now carry Glocks; relatively inexpensive, reliable and easily replaceable.

I haven’t fired a gen 5 but the gen 3 is my edc. If it were confiscated, I wouldn’t hesitate buying a gen 5.

I love my metal frame hand guns but I always carry an ugly polymer frame.

May not always be the right answer but a g19 is never the wrong answer

I found myself carrying a g43 daily.

Keep a 1911 at the bed side.

And vp9 if going to the shitty part of town.
