Maverick Arms (Mossberg) Announces Recall on Hunter ShotgunsO.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. (Mossberg) announced a recall on a number of the Maverick Hunter shotguns that have incorrect markings. According to the company, a “small number” of the shotguns have markings that indicate the chambers will accept 3.5″ shells. In actuality, the guns are built for 2.75″ and 3″ shells only.
Obviously, Mossberg warns against trying to shoot 3.5″ shells from these guns.
