Hornady recently announced a recall of certain 9mm Critical Duty ammunition. The ammo is described as:

Hornady Critical Duty
9mm +P 135 grain

shipped from factory between 6/5/14 and 7/16/14
The ammo may have light or no powder charges.

I bought $150 worth of the 9mm critical duty 135gr non plus p. I was shooting it and realized while loading and unloading mags that the 135g is really long. Long enough to slide the nose of the round on the front of the magazine as the spring pushes them up. Due to the round having a soft rubber insert in the hollow point, it acts as a brake and significantly slows down the feed.
The critical duty is only in 135g and 135+p so there are no shorter oal options.
