The ammo may have light or no powder charges.
Which could cause a squib and thus a very dangerous situation

Hornady recently announced a recall of certain 9mm Critical Duty ammunition. The ammo is described as:

Hornady Critical Duty
9mm +P 135 grain
item# 90226
lot# 3141635
shipped from factory between 6/5/14 and 7/16/14
The ammo may have light or no powder charges.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I bought $150 worth of the 9mm critical duty 135gr non plus p. I was shooting it and realized while loading and unloading mags that the 135g is really long. Long enough to slide the nose of the round on the front of the magazine as the spring pushes them up. Due to the round having a soft rubber insert in the hollow point, it acts as a brake and significantly slows down the feed.
The critical duty is only in 135g and 135+p so there are no shorter oal options.
