I am curious as to where you can get JHPs for that price.

Cool information, been wondering this myself.
However, you did leave out some of the initial cost of your equipment (which I imagine it would be tough to assess until you wore it out).
Why is it wicked fun??

No cost presented for time used...but if for fun, then a 0 I guess.

One of the fun parts of reading is buying components when they are on sale. I bought 2k 55 gr. FMJ .223 bullets in October for $85/1000. Also got 2k plated bullets for 45 auto for $226 shipped. I will be shooting my 45 for about $8/box.

Reloading 9mm cost

A good loader will last a very long time my dad has some multi stage shotgun loaders he has used for 30+ years and god knows how many rounds.

For .40 I use rainer 180gr jhp and they are around 68.99 for 500 or 110 for 1,000.

since they have poly tips I'm gonna say hornady bullets that are 69 grains or heavier. The 77 grain bullets get kinda long.

Coach 2.25 is the max you can go past it. But you need to measure your chamber and move it out slow watch for over pressure.

Reloading 9mm cost

This is something I've been dying to get into for quite a while now. Need to start collecting tools to do this. And get my lazy ass out in my yard and find as much of the nearly 10,000 rounds of 9mm brass I can find that is scattered around...haha I picked up 147 pieces standing in one spot yesterday...
