Out of powder?
Went to load some 6.5x55 for my Swedes today, only had enough IMR4320 for 23 rounds. How did that happen? So I got out my reloading manual and found the correct load for H4895 and loaded 112 more rounds. That is all the brass I had ready for loading. The IMR powder was about 20 years old, in the metal can. I still have some Red Dot and Blue Dot powder bought in 1994 in the cardboard cans.
Cutting grass is the price I gladly pay for not being cold.

I have plenty of other powder, just ran out of IMR4320. I have an 8lb. jug of Promo (used same as Red Dot), some Red Dot, Blue Dot, H4895, Accurate #5, H414, H4198. Also have 8# surplus WC852.

Always nice to find something you forgot about. A few months ago I found a Mosin-Nagant 91/30 rifle still in the box that I had purchased 18 months earlier. I bought 5 at one time and put this one back and forgot about it. lol
