Does anyone use amsoil or royal purple?

Got a badass ride, post it up. Cars, trucks, bikes, trikes, whatever rolls or flies.

I ran Amsoil synthetic blend in my car per the Amsoil dealer (same 5w20 as recommended), said it was better than the straight synthetic I usually run (Motorcraft).

I did the engine flush and put the Amsoil in and lost mileage. I changed it out early and went back to the Motorcraft and noticed an increase in mileage.

Could have been the difference in semi-synthetic vs synthetic....wasn't overly impressed with it in the diesels either.

Odd because the motorcraft is a synthetic blend also. Motorcraft 5w20 has a great reputation for high quality low cost.

With royal purple I have noticed a significant milage bump but I also did k&n air and fuel filter at the same time.

I may try the above combination on my new vehicle to see what mileage bump I get.

Last oil change I did I used Mobil 1 15,000 mile interval oil. I just changed it at about 7,000 miles and it looked very clean. The oil looked black in the pan just like any other oil but appeared very clean on my fingers. It didn't burn any either. I never had to add to it the whole time.
I put motorcraft back in this time because I got some on sale but I may start using the mobil 1 full time. I doubt I'd go 15,000 miles on it tho.

I use the Motorcraft Blend in all my vehicles.
