Uh, yeah, even if the top does come off, I don't want to be that friendly that I have to snuggle up next to the driver unless it's Mrs. W, Rachel, or a select few other members of the fairer sex (and I don't mean Jack or Marci, either!)BIGC wrote:Umm damn pick something that my ass can actually get in comfortably!! Yeah i wound never what to take a full size rig down some of the trails i have been down. hard to turn and they dont fit between trees well. knew a guy who had a bad ass k5 blazer and he got sick of getting hung up because of its size. so he took the drive train and axels out and put the in a jeep wj. it is a beast.
Re: The 4Runner project
Most of they sheet metal left will be staying, rockers will be gone as I'm doing a mini boat side but I'm tempted to go ahead and ditch the rest of the rear sheet metal for tubing.DDgunslinger wrote:So basically ford engine and most of the frame, is what your keeping lol86 slo-vo wrote:There will be more coming off lol,DDgunslinger wrote:There ain't much of that Ford left lmao

Marcus and I have been in the front of mine and weren't pressed up against each other. Altho neither are overly tall we are both just a little above medium husky...haha They are far from big but a little more room than you may think...Wyldman wrote:Uh, yeah, even if the top does come off, I don't want to be that friendly that I have to snuggle up next to the driver unless it's Mrs. W, Rachel, or a select few other members of the fairer sex (and I don't mean Jack or Marci, either!)BIGC wrote:Umm damn pick something that my ass can actually get in comfortably!! Re: The 4Runner project
I was in the back and it had plenty of room. Very fun indeed especially watching Will repeatedly ram a tree with his Cherokee.niceguyr6 wrote:Marcus and I have been in the front of mine and weren't pressed up against each other. The steam coming out of the hood vents was great! hahaha He was entertaining at the very least...haha Very entertaining in the dark. Engine screaming, headlights barely moving and then BAM! Headlights straight up in the air! Roll back, repeat...hahaha It's hard to run over a 3' diameter tree going UP the side of a hill...haha He said, "Dude, it's fucking fine! Just cut the fucking belt off!"....hahaha!jackalo626 wrote:I was in the back and it had plenty of room. Re: The 4Runner project
Seemed like more room than in a Cherokee, but not by much.

Re: The 4Runner project
I have owned 4 Cherokees and 2 Grand Cherokees and they had plenty of leg room, wheeled the shit out of them and never had a problem getting stuck.. But a buddy of mine ran a 4 runner and I could barely get in it with him because my knees stayed in the dash.........

Re: The 4Runner project
I know what you mean about that. I think they don't have enough front seat adjustment because with them all the way back you still have quite a bit of leg room in the back seat. The jeeps all the way back have no rear leg room. I think it's just how the seats are set up in them. I think they both have their good and bad. I've just been a Toyota 4x4 nut since I saw the black 85 excab in Back to the Future in the theater when I was a little kid...haha I've had a 84 and 88 truck and 84, 89 and 90 4Runners over the years. 84 now...BIGC wrote:I have owned 4 Cherokees and 2 Grand Cherokees and they had plenty of leg room, wheeled the shit out of them and never had a problem getting stuck..
